Mapspot® offers users the ability to utilize virtual spaces on Earth as a medium to promote their content, introducing a novel form of digital asset.
You can mark spots on the global map, creating 100-foot virtual perimeters (approximately 1/2 acre), directly linked to your profile. This enables other users to discover you by tapping on these spots or physically passing near them in the real world.
The platform features built-in messaging functionality to facilitate connections with people you encounter.
Each user account is allocated one free spot placement, except for specific major cities where limitations apply.
The system is meticulously structured to maintain a minimum distance of 2 miles between all spots associated with an account on the map, ensuring an equitable distribution of spots within local areas.
To preserve the integrity of the platform and uphold a one-account-per-user policy, each individual is restricted to a single Mapspot® account per device. In the future, we plan to integrate identity verification (restricted to ages 18 and above) for enhanced security measures.
In major cities, there is a one-spot claiming limit per account.
Mapspot's monthly auto-renewable subscriptions provide access to distinctive virtual spaces akin to virtual land. A higher number of spots on the map enhance the visibility of both yourself and your content.
Subscriptions for Mapspot® last for 1 month, with users limited to one active subscription at a time.
Upon confirmation of purchase, subscription charges are debited from your iTunes account and automatically renew unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
During the active subscription period, cancellations are not permitted; however, users can manage their subscriptions or disable auto-renewal by accessing their iTunes Account Settings post-purchase.
Renewal charges are processed within 24 hours before the current period's conclusion. No cancellations can be made during an active subscription period.
